XL EWF - MAXIMUM FLOTATION FOR YOUR FORESTRY MACHINE

XL EWF is the go-to track when you need maximum flotation for your forestry machine. The track plates are 220 mm wide and available in four different lenght variants. The longer the track plate, the larger the contact area - and the better the flotation. 

All variants except the EWF 800 feature rounded ends for smoother, more gentle turning of the machine. The EWF 800 is optimized for flotation in thinning operations, or when you don’t have the space to increase the machine’s overall transport width.

To keep the tracks in place on the tires, there is a traction rib on the underside of the plate that provides grip against the tire. The angled, tire-friendly side supports also help hold the tracks in position without causing unnecessary wear on the tires.

XL EWF 800

XL EWF 900

  • The bestseller of the EWF-family
  • 900 mm long plate with an asymmetrical design
  • Extends beyond the outer tire edge to give the forestry machine increased contact area and floation
  • Optimized for thinning machines and forest machines with limited space between the tire and chassis
  • Rouded edge on the outer plate end for smoother turning
  • No inward extension on the inner tire side - suitable for forest machines with limited space between the tire and chassis

XL EWF 1000

  • High flotation performance without exceeding the forestry machine's maximum transport width
  • 1000 mm long plate with asymmetrical design
  • Extends beyond both the inner and outer tire edges to give the forest machine a large contact area and excellent flotation
  • Requires at least 20 cm of clearence between the inner tire side and chassis
  • Rounded edges on both ends of the plate for smoother turning and reduced risk of ground damage

Note! Available in HD version, where the plate has the same design as the EWF 900 (no inward extension on the inner tire side)

XL EWF 1200

  • Gives the forestry machine maximum contact area and flotation without compromises
  • 1200 mm long plate with asymmetrical design
  • Extends beyond both the inner and outer tire edges to provide maximum contact area and flotation
  • The inward extension requires at least 20 cm of clearance between tire and chassis
  • Rounded edges on both ends of the plate for smoother turning and reduced risk of ground damage

XL EWF CONFIGURATION

PRO OR HD PROFILE

XL EWF 800, 900 och 1200 are available in the PRO version and are well-suited for normal operating loads.
XL EWF 1000 is avalable in both PRO and HD versions. The HD version is recommended when the tracks will be exposed to higher loads, for example on final-felling forwarders.
